White River 50M / 50K / 25K

Overview
About this race
Set in the shadow of Tahoma (aka Mt. Rainier), this classic race offers amazing views of Washington's tallest mountain — ridge tops, northwest forest, and mostly single-track trail. For decades runners, including many of the best, have come here to push themselves in this spectacular place.

Course
The course
The 50 Mile course climbs from the start up to the Palisades, out to Corral Pass, then follows the ridge over Sun Top before dropping to the Skookum Flats and back to the finish — 10,200 ft of climbing over classic White River terrain.
The 50K follows the 50M course for the first ~30 miles, doing the whole first 'half' of the 50 miler, before turning back to the finish for 5,900 ft of gain.
The 25K follows the 50M & 50K courses for the first 10.8 miles (other than a slightly different start), then takes a big shortcut: after the Palisades it skips the Corral Pass section and drops down the Ranger Creek Trail back to the start/finish area (~3,700 ft of gain).
